sequences 2009 exhibits contemporary art with a special emphasis on the ephemeral nature of art this year. taking up the vaudevillean stage; made up of a series of separate, unrelated acts grouped together, sequences hopes to create a multifunctional stage as a rendezvous for visual and stage arts. vaudeville, a variety entertainment known for its “low” entertainment has had its influence on contemporary pop culture. aces, galleries and institutions.’
